I received the Curél® Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer from Crowdtap! I wanted to try this because they say it is activated by water on freshly-showered skin and penetrates deep into skin’s surface to heal dryness and lock in moisture.
I have never heard of a water activated moisturizer before now, so you can imagine my excitement.

I was so happy to see my Curél Hydra in the mailbox yesterday! I took a shower as soon as I walked in the door so I could try it out. I have never heard of an water activated moisturizer before now, so you can imagine my excitement. My husband has EXTREMELY dry hands and feet and my hand are pretty dry also. I LOVE IT!!!! They have changed everything!! This Shaving cream leaves my skin so soft!! I mean Baby soft! All DAY LONG!! I'm not exaggerating I want to shave my legs every day! And the smell! So I received a Gillette Venus 3 blade + long lasting glide strip.
The first thing I noticed was the "close and clean in 1 stroke" which we all look for in our razors.
{When I used the razor it was defiantly true, It is very smooth.}
On the back:

    1. 3 blade smoothness
2.  A indicator strip- the blue strip fades away when you are no longer getting the optimal shave
{ This is very appealing to me. I always wonder if my razor is done or if its just me! Since I just got the razor I will have to let you guys know a little later if it works!}
3. Lubrastrip with a touch of Aloe for glide {I love Aloe!}

So I am loving this razor so far, then I go to open it... Now it is ALWAYS a pain to get these things open! BUT!! These guys have changed the game, to open it you just squeeze the sides and pull in a few spots it was so easy! No scissors or husbands required.
Once I got it open I saw that I also received a replacement cartridge, and that you can use any replacement except the Venues Simple.
It was super easy to snap the blade on and it looks exactly as I expected. {they didn't beef if up on the packaging} 

Performance:
The grip stood out while I was wetting the razor, it fit in my hand perfectly as if they measured my hand and built the razor just for me.
They were not kidding when they said smooth! The Venus, is incredibly smooth and it shaved with ease! I didn't even use shaving cream.
When I got out of the shower my legs were so soft I couldn't believe it.
This is the BEST razor I have used in a long time! I normally don't use razors with only 3 blades because the cut is just not as clean.
I actually switched to men's razors for a more comfortable shave. After trying this I will be using Gillette Venus, I feel the aloe really helped with the after shave relief. I may try there other refills but the Venus is perfect soo I might just stick with it for a while! :)

Amazing, Quick Party drinks

Amazing, quick, and cheap party drinks!

Family circle has a page in there magazine with three "Fun on ice Drinks".

I tried them and they ae amazing! So I had to share!

SERVES 8

1. Cucumber Mint Spritzer

{in a blender}

    1 lb. cucumber

    1/3 lime juice

    1/3 honey

blend until smooth and pour, use a strainer and remove the pulp. Push on to remove liquid

    mix with 2 cups seltzer

    1 packed cup of mint leaves

     1/2 cup of cucumber

Booze: 1 cup gin

 

2. Pineapple Jalapeno Punch

(this one was my favorite! I was scared it try it at first but! it was AMAZING!)

    3 cups of pineapple juice

    2 cups of seltzer

    a seeded slice of jalapeno

Booze: 1 1/4 cup spiced rum

 

3. Watermelon Aqua Fresca

{in a blender}

     8 cups seedless watermelon cubes

     1/3 cup lime juice

     3 tbs agave nectar (I did not use this)

blend until smooth and pour, use a strainer and remove the pulp. Push on to remove liquid

    stir in 2 sliced limes and garnish with watermelon

booze: 1 1/4 cup vodka

Taco bell Fultondale

This is probably the WORST taco bell ever....

At this Taco bell they are great at getting your order right. BUT... then they just toss it in the bag and make this huge mess.

The people that work the drive through window are SO rude! 

When you dine in they watch you walk in the door and continue doing whatever they want they will get to you eventually...

This is probably one of the only Taco Bell's anywhere that don't serve breakfast all day 

They say they're open till 12pm during the week but from my experiences (multiple times)  around 10-11 there already closed! inside and out! 

I think it is time for corporate to step in! 

Outback Steakhouse in Fultondale

 

My husband and I received a gift card for Outback on Christmas, we just got around to using it and it was WONDERFUL! 

We ordered on the website for pick up. The website was very easy to use! I love how when placing my order I can tell them exactly how I want it all on the same page!

The payment process online was a bit confusing [(Especially with the gift card) we went without the gift card and I still had to just pay at the store.] When we went to receive our food, the service was polite and reasonably timed. We got home with the food it was warm and very flavorful! I will definitely be returning.

This is cute locally owned and operated shop! 

They have great tamales, sandwiches, and more! I especially love the friendly service and taco Tuesdays. Snowies is always adding new stuff to there menu and they are pretty affordable! They even put toons on for the kids!

Domino's Pizza in Fultondale

I eat A LOT of pizza, mostly at work, where i'm stuck and I just need something to eat!  

I have tried just about every pizza place around me. Most of them are terrible! BUT! Domino's has always been pretty amazing to me! Here are my favorite things about domino's :)

 

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT DOMINO'S

 

-The rewards program (every 6th pizza you get one free) 

- The pizza tracker! I love knowing if my pizza is almost done or if its on the way! The tracker is a great tool

- They ALWAYS have some coupon on there site you can use 

- I get my food in about 20-30 min. That's pretty fast considering how SLOW everyone else is.

- love the bread pasta bowl!

 

What I don't like about Domino's

 

- They should try to come out with some new pizza types 

- I don't like their cheese bread
